Sonbhadra/New Delhi. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Sunday distributed solar stoves under ‘Surya Nutan’ stove in 309 women in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. During this, he also interacted with the beneficiaries. Hardeep Singh Puri said that the Surya Nutan Chulha program was run in the year 2017 on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Green and clean cooking are getting a new dimension from the solar cooking that revolutionizes the kitchen. It is also a symbol of the will power of the Modi government and the measures being taken for the energy revolution in the country.
Hardeep Singh Puri wrote on the social media platform X, “In Sonbhadra I got an opportunity to provide about 309 sisters Surya Nutan Chulha and communicate with the beneficiaries. Innovation of solar stove was called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2017 and the new India stood in 2023 with a remarkable solution.
He wrote, “Solar Cutop, which is revolutionizing the kitchen, is giving a new dimension to green and clean cooking. It is also a symbol of the will of the Modi government and the measures being taken for the energy revolution in the country. ”
The Union Minister wrote, “Eco -friendly and user friendly This stove collects the energy obtained from the Sun in a specially designed thermal storage material and collected energy is used inside the kitchen for cooking. This stove is capable of cooking day and dinner in every season. It can also be charged with discharge during cooking in the kitchen. ”
It is noteworthy that on 25 September 2017 on the call of the Prime Minister, the Indian Oil and the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas developed an indigenous solar cook top ‘Surya Nutan’. It is an indoor solar cooking system installed at one place, rechargeable and always connected to the kitchen. It provides online cooking mode when charging with sunlight, which maximizes the efficiency of the system and ensures the most use of energy from the sun.
It works on hybrid mode (ie can work together on both solar and supporting energy sources) that makes it a reliable cooking solution for all seasons.
