Hero Bikes Sales Report: With the onset of the festive season, the sales of two-wheelers of Hero MotoCorp have started increasing. Recently, this company has shared the sales report for the month of August. Under which information about two-wheeler sales figures has been given. According to this sales report, the company has registered a growth of 4.84 percent in two-wheeler sales in the month of August on an annual basis. In the month of August, Hero has sold 5.12 lakh motorcycles and scooters including total domestic and export sales. Whereas in the month of August last year 2023, the figure of 4.88 lakh vehicle sales came out on an annual basis. From a comparative point of view, the number of vehicles sold in August on a monthly basis is 38.34 percent more than the 3.7 lakh two-wheelers sold in July.
How are the sales figures of bikes and scooters?
If we look at the sales figures of August, the sales of scooters during this period could not show anything special. The main reason behind this is that in the scooter segment, customers are currently preferring to buy cheap electric scooters of other companies which are available with subsidy. Their sales fell by less than 6.53 percent to 34,145 percent sales figures, while in August 2023 last year, Hero sold a total of 36,531. At the same time, scooter sales in July were 29,884 units. If we look at the sales figures of the Hero motorcycle segment, according to the sales report of last month, its sales have been 4.78 lakh vehicles, which has registered a growth of 5.76 percent on an annual basis as compared to 4.52 lakh sold in the same month last year. In which there has been a growth of 40.49 percent on a monthly basis as compared to 3.4 lakh bikes sold in July last month.
There was an increase in exports along with the domestic market
Hero MotoCorp, the vehicle manufacturer, has seen a growth in the sale of two-wheelers in the domestic market as well as in exports last month. According to the sales report, the export of two-wheelers of Hero Company has increased by 27.44 percent to 20,097, which was 15,770 in the same month last year. At the same time, in the month of July this year also, the company had achieved success in exporting 22,739 two-wheelers while gaining growth. At the same time, in the month of August, the total domestic sales of the company including bikes and scooters have crossed the figure of 4.92 lakh. This figure is 4.08 percent higher on an annual basis as compared to 4.72 lakh sold in August 2023. Also, this figure is 41.73 percent more on a monthly basis than the 3.47 lakh two-wheelers sold in July 2024 this year.
