Indian Railways is constantly modernizing the country’s rail network by adopting new technologies. After working fast on the bullet train project, now India’s first hyperloop test track is ready! This high-speed train technology can only change the meaning of rail travel in the coming time.
What is hyperloop?
Hyperloop is a superfast train technology, in which the train runs inside a vacuum tube. Its most special thing is that it reaches its destination directly without any hindrance – like flight travels without stopping in the air.
💨 The main features of Hyperloop:
✔ Extreme fast speed – speed of up to 1,000 kmph
✔ Zero Pollution – Because it runs on electric pods
✔ Rapid journey will be covered in a few minutes
✔ Low cost journey – Bullet train may be cheaper than in future
India’s first hyperloop track 🚆
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently announced that Indian Railways and IIT Madras together have prepared the first hyperloop test track. This track is 410 meters long and has already been tested at a speed of 100 kmph. It is now planned to test it at a speed of 600 kmph.
🚀 What will be the changes in the future?
If this technology is successful, then the journey from Jaipur to Delhi will be completed in just 30 minutes! That is, the journey which is completed in hours today will be possible in a few minutes.
India’s first hyperloop train 🚄
📍 India’s first hyperloop train will run between Mumbai-Pune!
🔹 It will complete a distance of 150 km in just 25 minutes.
🔹 The train will run without stopping between two stations.
🔹 This bullet will be faster, cheaper and environmentally friendly than the train.
Will the hyperloop train be successful in India?
🚄 If this project is successful, it can be expanded across India in the coming time. However, research and cost are currently being assessed on this technology.
