Uttar Pradesh News Desk: Before Maha Kumbh, emphasis is being laid on making Civil Lines Depot hi-tech. After trial at the depot, the details of arrival and departure of buses were displayed on the website and LED screens of the premises. Passengers will get live location information only after GPS is installed in many buses.
Before traveling by buses from the Civil Lines Roadways depot of the city, passengers will get complete information along with bus numbers on the internet. Internet service equipment, computer room and LED monitors have been introduced in the depot premises. With the help of GPS installed in seven buses of the depot, information about the arrival and departure of such buses was given to the passengers. Before the start of Maha Kumbh Mela of Prayagraj, GPS service will be started in most of the buses of the depot by 15. The registration number and route of buses going to and from the depot will be easily visible on the website of the corporation. For the work on the computer control route, the government has entrusted the responsibility of installing all the equipment to an agency and completing the work quickly.
Fair pass will be issued on corporation buses before Maha Kumbh
Pratapgarh. To ensure smooth traffic in the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in Prayagraj in 2025, Prayagraj Commissionerate Police has advised all government vehicles to have hallmarked passes. ARM SM Singh of Roadways Corporation said that special passes for the buses running in Mahakumbh fair will be available from the regional office. Details of the buses are being sent to the regional office.
