Hanumangarh. Inter District Youth Exchange Program was launched by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The chief guest of the program was Superintendent of Police Arshad Ali. Jodhpur Electricity Distribution Corporation Executive Officer S.K. Verma, while District Cycling Association President Madanlal Suthar was present as a special guest.
27 youth from Udaipur district participated in the program, representing Udaipur district. In the inaugural session, Principal of Ryan College, Dr. Santosh Rajpurohit and Ayurveda Medical Officer, Dr. Teerthraj Sharma addressed the youth with inspiring thoughts.
Superintendent of Police Arshad Ali, while addressing the youth, called upon them to channelize their energy in a positive direction. He appealed to the youth to stay away from social evils like drugs and gave the message of playing an active role in the society.
District Youth Officer Reena Kesariya said that this five-day program provides a platform for personality development and enhancing cultural understanding of the youth. Under this program, the participants will be taken on tour to historical places like Kalibanga, Bhadrakali, Masit Wali Head, Sukh Singh Mehtab Singh Gurudwara etc. Also, special lectures will be organized on yoga and other topics.
Expressing his views, District Youth Program Advisory Committee member and social worker Dalip Verma said that such programs provide a unique opportunity to the youth to understand the language, lifestyle, food and culture of different districts. He called it an important step for personality building of the youth.
Many dignitaries including advisory committee member Bhartendu Saini, retired principal Durga Dutt Saini, Vijay Moyal of National Youth Health Service, athletics coach Yogendra Singh, Indraj Kumar, Sunil Sanwaria and accountant Kailash Kumawat participated in the program.
Dalip Verma conducted the program efficiently. Through this event, the youth got an opportunity to know the culture of the district closely and promote mutual coordination and brotherhood.
