World’s Most Powerful Passports 2025: As the new year begins, The Henley Passport Index has released the latest ranking of the world’s most powerful passports. Many changes have been seen in this year’s ranking. Let us tell you that Henley & Partners has released the ranking for the year 2025 based on the latest data of International Air Transport Association (IATA). The strength of passports of different countries is judged by how many countries their citizens can enter without a visa.

Which country’s passport is in first place

According to The Henley Passport Index 2025, Singapore’s passport ranks first in this list. Singapore citizens can enter a maximum of 195 countries without a visa. Japan is at second place in this list, where its citizens can enter 193 countries without a visa. Finland, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Spain are all in third place. People from these countries can enter 192 countries without visa.

These countries are at fourth and fifth rank

In this year’s ranking, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden are at fourth place, citizens of these countries can enter 191 countries without a visa. Belgium, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are at fifth place in the list, whose citizens can enter 190 countries without a visa.

What rank is Indian passport?

India’s passport has been ranked 85th in The Henley Passport Index 2025, up from 80th last year. Indian citizens can enter 57 countries without visa. Pakistan is at 103rd place in this list, where its citizens can enter 33 countries without visa. Afghanistan is at the bottom in this list, at 106th rank. Afghan citizens can enter 26 countries without a visa.

Indian citizens living in Angola, Barbados, Bhutan, Bolivia, British Virgin Islands, Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde Islands, Comoro Islands, Cook Islands, Djibouti, Dominica, Ethiopia, Fiji, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Macau, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mauritania, Micronesia, Nepal, Myanmar, Qatar, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Montserrat, Mozambique, Niue, Palau Islands, Samoa, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia , Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Tanzania, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Zimbabwe without a visa.
