Bharatpur When there is violence between lawyers fighting justice, it becomes a serious matter. In the Bharatpur court premises, a lawyer beat the female lawyer publicly. It is alleged that after a dispute over money transactions, advocate Gopal Mathuria kicked a female lawyer Sheetal Sharma and beat him badly with slaps.
What is the whole matter?
35 -year -old Sheetal Sharma is a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Sever police station area. She told that she used to practice on the bag of Gopal Mathuria earlier. Online fees of clients used to come to his account, from time to time she used to pay to Gopal Mathuria.
In August 2024, he put his separate bag before the robbery court. At around 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon, Gopal Mathuria suddenly came to him and started asking for the account of the old money. Sheetal says that she had already paid, but Gopal started abusing and threatened to beat.
When Sheetal started going towards the Bar Association to make a complaint, Gopal Mathuria grabbed her hair and started kicking with kicking.
People kept watching spectacle in court, lawyers came late to help
The people present in the court premises remained spectacle during the incident. After some time, 1-2 lawyers rescued Sheetal and sent her home.
Sheetal’s health suddenly deteriorated at night, after which her family admitted her to RBM Hospital.
No complaint in police yet
Sheetal Sharma has not yet given any complaint to the police in this case. He says that when he was killed, no one tried to save.
Big question – Why violence in the judiciary?
This incident has raised questions on the dignity of the lawyers’ profession. Are women not safe even in court premises? Are the protector of the law breaking the law? Now it will be seen whether Sheetal Sharma files a police complaint or not, and what steps do the Bar Association takes on it?
