On the last day of the Rajasthan assembly session, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie questioned the functioning and accountability of the government in the House. Julie said that the ministers were unable to answer the questions, especially when the scholarship came to the children, the government failed to answer. Tikaram Julie said that the first priority of the government should be electricity and water. But the government is refraining from discussing these issues. He said that there is no discussion on electricity and we are also being prevented from asking supplements.
“Government is providing only 15-16 hours of electricity”
Julie said that the current government is providing electricity for only 15-16 hours in the name of 24 hours. He further said that the government does not have any concrete arrangements due to increasing demand for electricity during the summer season. Being a member of the Legislative Assembly, no one has the right to question the issues affecting the lives of common people.
“Coaching Bill is in the interest of large coaching institutes”
Tikaram Julie also attacked the new bill related to coaching centers. He said that the coaching bill that the government is bringing today is in the interest of big coaching institutes. He alleged that this incomplete bill is not in the interest of students and this will increase inequality in the education sector. He insisted that the government should withdraw this bill and resolve the complaints of students and parents, as cases of suicide are continuously coming up and parents are also being looted.
