Motihari. A case of criminals adopting new methods of robbery has come to light in Bihar. On the instructions of the new DGP of the state Vinay Kumar, the police has launched a strict campaign against the criminals, after which the criminals have also changed the pattern of their activities. Now girls are being used to commit crimes, who first ask for lift after seeing luxury vehicles and then call the gang and commit robbery.
On Thursday, police busted one such gang in Motihari district and arrested seven criminals. These include Lal Saheb of Chakia police station area of East Champaran district, Nitesh Kumar, Dharmendra Kumar, Akash Kumar of Kalyanpur police station area, Subhash Rai of Mehsi police station area, Ramesh Kumar of Madhuban police station area and Priyanka Devi of Rampur police station area of Muzaffarpur district. . Motihari Police has recovered three looted luxury cars, six country-made pistols, six cartridges and five mobile phones from these criminals.
Motihari Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat told news agency that the police team of Kalyanpur police station was conducting raids against criminals for the last three days. Police recovered two vehicles, while the third vehicle was cut up by Subhash Rai in Mehsi and sold as scrap, which has been recovered as scrap.
According to the police, this gang had entered the world of crime for the first time and had included women with them to commit robbery incidents. These criminals used women asking for lift from vehicles on the road and then through those women called their gang for robbery. The gang used to target luxury vehicles.
The police officer claims that after the busting of this gang, such crimes will reduce. The police is continuously taking action in this direction and by understanding the new patterns of criminals, efforts are being made to catch them. The arrested people are being interrogated.
