The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is operated by the Government of India to provide direct financial benefits to the farmers. The Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2019. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6000 is given to the beneficiary farmers annually. This money reaches the farmer’s account directly through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer in three installments of two rupees at an interval of four months.
Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the last i.e. 17th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. About 9 crore farmers of the country benefited. Now farmers are waiting for the next i.e. 18th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If these necessary works are not done under the scheme before the 19th installment is released, then the installment of farmers can stop.
E-KYC is mandatory for farmers taking advantage of the scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Otherwise the farmers will not get the benefit of the scheme. According to the model issued by the government, farmers themselves will have to complete the KYC process. Only then will they get the next installment of the plan. There are people who have not completed the KYC process, due to which their profit has stopped. Therefore, farmers will have to complete the e-KYC at the earliest.
For this, farmers can do e-KYC both online and offline. For online e-KYC, farmers can do e-KYC only through face authentication, Aadhaar card and mobile number through Kisan app. To get offline e-KYC, farmers have to go to the Common Service Center. Where they have to give their information to the operator. After this, he will complete the e-KYC process.
There are many such farmers under Kisan Yojana. Which is not eligible under the scheme. But they are also getting the benefit of the scheme. That is why now the government has made land verification necessary for the identity of such farmers. For this, farmers will have to go to their nearest Agriculture Department and submit the form with documents for land verification. Apart from this, you can also verify the land online by visiting the nearest CSC Center.
