Apart from Rafi Khan, the list of 10 accused of fake currency transactions includes SP leader Naushad Khan, Aurangzeb, Mohammad Rafi, Parvez Ilahi alias Kausar Afridi, Sheikh Jamaluddin, Niazuddin alias Munna, Rehan Khan alias Saddam, Mohammad Rafiq alias Bablu Khan, Hashim Khan and Siraj Hashmi. According to the police, 10 accused have been arrested, but 4 accused are still absconding.

When the police got information that counterfeit currency business was going on in Kushinagar, the police immediately raided the place. This entire business was going on in Tamkuhiraj of Kushinagar. The police have recovered fake currency worth Rs 5 lakh 62 thousand, 1.10 lakh real currency and 3000 Nepali currency from the spot. Apart from this, the accused also had many weapons. The police recovered 10 country-made guns, 4 cotton bombs, 2 Nepali SIMs and 26 fake documents.
