America Jet Nearly Crashes Into College Basketball Team Plane
Washington: The last few days of the year 2024 were not good for air traffic. There have been three major plane accidents in late December alone. Meanwhile, on Friday last week, a major plane accident was also averted at Los Angeles International Airport. A plane carrying the Gonzaga University men’s basketball team narrowly avoided collision with another plane at an airport. The video of this entire incident has also surfaced.

In the video viral on social media, it can be seen how an officer is ordering “stop, stop, stop” after seeing both the planes coming closer. Meanwhile, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has started an investigation into the incident that occurred on Friday.
What happened?
In fact, the Embraer E135 jet was about to take off carrying the Gonzaga University men’s basketball team when Lime Air Flight 563 started taking off from the other runway, increasing the risk of a collision between the two planes. This accident was averted due to the wisdom of the officials.
