Jaipur. Under PM Kusum Yojana, the work of feeder level solarization is gaining momentum in the state. Through this scheme, the state government aims to provide electricity to farmers for farming related works during the day by the year 2027.
In the same direction, under Component-C of the scheme, two solar power plants of 5.38 MW capacity have been recently installed in Khairthal-Tijara and Kotputli-Behrod districts of the state through solar power generators and electricity generation can be done by connecting them to the nearby grid. Has been started.
Discom Chairman Aarti Dogra said that a 2.74 MW capacity solar plant has been installed by solar power generator M/s Sanoli Solar Energy Private Limited in Jat Behror of Bhiwadi Circle (Khairthal-Tijara district) in the last week of September. This plant has also been connected to 33/11 KV substation. Now electricity is being supplied to 238 agricultural consumers connected to this sub station during the day.
Similarly, a 2.64 MW plant was installed by M/s Kathuwas Solar Energy Private Limited at Hoodia Jaitpur in Kotputli-Behror district on Wednesday and connected to 33/11 KV substation. Through this plant, electricity has now started being supplied to 247 agricultural consumers connected to this sub-station during the day. Dogra said that under the Kusum-C scheme, 7 solar plants with a capacity of 17.29 MW have been installed in the Jaipur Electricity Distribution Corporation area. Through these, 1981 farmers are getting electricity during the day.
It is noteworthy that in the month of September itself, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had laid the foundation stone of 608 solar plants in the state under the PM Kusum-C scheme in a program organized under the Chief Minister Rojgar Utsav. Through these plants, an investment of Rs 5 thousand 254 crore and 1501 MW electricity can be produced. Besides, farmers will also be able to achieve the target of providing electricity during the day for agricultural work.
