Hanumangarh. Mahatma Gandhi created a sense of indigenous, self -language and Swaraj in the heart of every Indian. His thoughts and ideals will always inspire every Indian to serve the nation. On Thursday, on the occasion of the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the program was organized at the district and subdivision level.
District Collector Kana Ram, ADM Ummai Lal Meena, CEO OP in the district level program organized at the Collectorate campus at the district headquarters. All district level officers including Bishnoi, Hanumangarh SDM Mangilal were present. The program began with a wreath at the statue of Gandhiji at the Collectorate campus. In the program, the students of NPS School sang Ramdhun.
District Collector Kana Ram said that we have experienced happiness since birth, so we cannot understand or feel difficulties. When we were born, we had hospital, school, constitution and elected government. But the elders say that their life was full of struggles. We should not forget history, because if we forget history, we will not be able to build the future.
We have to always put forward the ideals and values of Gandhiji. I am the most influenced by Gandhiji’s three things. If Gandhiji had wondered “Why should I do alone,” we would not have been here today. We should also adopt this thinking in our services and daily routines.
Gandhiji, following non -violence, started the freedom struggle with the Non -Cooperation Movement, which reached the Quit India Movement through the Civil Disobedience Movement. The freedom struggle was not an attempt of one day.
The collector said that our works may require aggression, but the way of placing demands should always be democratic. Special attention should be paid to the means and purity of the practicable. If the way to achieve the goal is not sacred, then achieving that goal has no importance. Along with the practicable, it is also very important to be the pure of the instrument, otherwise the end result of the target may be negative. At the end of the program, a two-minute silence was kept in memory of the martyrs. The stage was conducted by Bhishma Kaushik.
