New Delhi. A 14-year-old minor student was stabbed to death by some people outside the school in Shakarpur area of East Delhi. Police have detained five minors in this case. Meanwhile, two other people have been arrested.
Police said the student had hit one of the main accused boys with a ball while playing, which enraged him so much that he called his two uncles to resolve the matter.
According to DCP Abhishek Dhaniya, a 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death by seven people, including five minors, outside a school in East Delhi’s Shakarpur area. This murder was carried out out of a sense of revenge over a small matter.
The accused have been identified as Sarathi (19), Aman Kumar (31) and five minors. Both Aman and Sarathi were relatives of one of the accused boys. According to police, the dispute began over the game of “dodge ball,” where players throw a ball at each other while trying to avoid being hit. The victim boy had hit one of the main accused boys with a ball while playing, which enraged him so much that he called his two uncles to settle the matter.
DCP (East) Abhishek Dhaniya said that he received information around 6 pm on Friday that a student was attacked while coming out of the extra class for classes 9 to 12 at Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya No. 2 (RSBV-2), Shakarpur, Delhi. Some people have attacked.
He said the victim, who was a Class 9 student, was attacked with a knife by some people outside the school gate. He was initially given first aid by the school and then taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment. The police immediately registered a case of murder and formed several teams to solve the case and arrest the accused as soon as possible.
Preliminary police investigation revealed that a student of the same school had borrowed a mobile phone from another student and had called his uncle. During this time, citing a dispute with the victim boy, he was asked to send some people.
The DCP said, “After this conversation, at the end of the day, when the students were leaving the campus, the accused boy was seen by some people outside the main gate along with three-four persons. Following this, one of them again started an argument. and stabbed the victim, who later died. Police identified the attackers on the basis of CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts and later caught them all.
