Under the leadership of newly appointed SHO Harchan Devasi of Abu Road City police station, the police have arrested four accused who were gambling in a residential building. Cash worth Rs 90,200 has been seized from him. Three motorcycles have also been seized in this case.
According to the information received, the police raided a house in Kesarganj area, where Kailash Kumar, Yasin Shah, Firdous alias Gugu and Arif Qureshi were gambling with cards. The police team surrounded the entire place and investigated and arrested the accused. This action of the police has spread panic among the gamblers.
Major smuggling busted in Pindwara
Here, under the leadership of Pindwara police station in-charge Bhawani Singh Rajawat, the police and DST team took joint action on Malera Tiraha Highway Road. In this action, police seized 44.4 kg of opium from a car and arrested two accused.
The accused have been identified as Devram Jat and Mahavir Jat. The value of seized opium is Rs 15 lakh. Its price is said to be Rs 6.60 lakh. This action is part of the campaign being run by the police against drug trafficking.
