The Director General of Police, while appreciating the innovative initiative of Dausa Police, said that this is the first such effort in the state police this year, which has been organized in a very systematic manner. During this competition, cricket matches were organized at various places, in which there was wide participation of the public. He said that this type of event establishes good coordination between the police and the public, which proves helpful in normal times apart from police working. He said that this type of event gives an opportunity to the police officers and employees to do something different apart from the departmental work along with the public, which infuses a new energy and enthusiasm in them.
Director General of Police (Cyber Crime) Hemant Priyadarshini said that this event will strengthen the connection of the police with the public. Also, the police will get inspiration to work with the common people and win.
Announcement of adoption in other districts of the range also
Jaipur Range Police Inspector General Ajay Pal Lamba said that this innovative chapter started for connecting with the common people will be continued here. Describing Dausa Premier League as an extension activity of community policing, he said that this will give a new condition and direction in the police functioning. He announced to adopt this innovative initiative in other districts of the range also.
Policemen and other young players participated in 32 teams
Earlier, District Superintendent of Police Ranjita Sharma welcomed the guests at the closing ceremony and gave detailed information regarding the competition. He told that in the DGP-IGP conference this year, the Prime Minister had called upon the police to connect especially with the youth and common people through sports. According to the same thinking, this competition has been organized, in which a total of 32 teams of policemen and other young players participated. There was an all-female team in the competition.
The public welcomed the innovative initiative with full support.
The Superintendent of Police said that the common people welcomed this innovative initiative with full cooperation in the matches organized for 10 days in the stadiums of Mahwa, Lalsot, Bandikui and Dausa. He said that sports has helped in establishing a positive environment in the police. Also, with the addition of new members of the society, the intelligence system of the police will be strengthened.
‘Hospital Harrier’ team became the first champion
‘Hospital Harriers’ team defeated ‘Bejupada Bravo’ team by one wicket in a thrilling final match and achieved the honor of becoming the first champion of ‘Dausa Premier League’ cricket competition. Ashutosh Tiwari of ‘Hospital Harriers’ was given the ‘Man of the Match’ award.
Sangeet Meena of ‘Bejupada Bravo’ becomes ‘Best Player of League’
The guests honored the players who performed best during the entire competition. Sangeet Meena of ‘Bejupada Bravo’ team was awarded the title of ‘Best Player of the League’. Similarly, Sagar of ‘Lalsot Lions’ was awarded ‘Best Fielder of League’, Anu Singhal of ‘Balaji Magic’ was awarded ‘Best Bowler of League’, Anil Sharma of ‘Basava Blaster’ was awarded ‘Best Batsman of League’. . ‘Special Award’ was given to ‘Bejupada Bravo’ team batsman Abhishek, who hit five sixes in adverse conditions in the final match.
On this occasion, District Judge, District Collector Devendra Kumar, Deputy Forest Conservator Ajit Uchoi, Additional Superintendent of Police Lokesh Sonwal along with police officers, distinguished citizens and youth were present.
