This is the story of Gurugram’s rapist Sunil… It is said that no matter how vicious a criminal is, one day he comes under the grip of the law. 30 year old serial rapist Sunil also came under the grip of law. Since then he was in jail. Recently the court has declared him guilty. The court sentenced Sunil to death after raping and murdering 9 innocent girls.

That dreadful day of 11th November 2018, when this brute brutally raped and killed an innocent girl. Sunil, a savage living in the slums of Gurugram Sector-65 police station area, went to three girls playing nearby and showed them a Rs 10 note and asked them to come with him to the shop. Two girls did not go but a three and a half year old girl did go. After which Sunil took the girl to Sector-66 area, raped her and murdered her. Sunil had also absconded from his slum.
The search for the girl was continuing. Meanwhile, the next day a girl’s body was found in a mutilated condition in front of a temple. There were cut marks on the body. His face was wrapped in polythene. The head was badly crushed with stones. Pieces of brick and sticks were stuffed into the girl’s private parts. Looking at the dead body, it was clear that the girl had been brutally assaulted.
On November 12, 2018, the girl’s body was found lying in Sector-66 area. The postmortem report revealed that the accused had molested the innocent girl. He beat the girl to death. His head was also hit with bricks and stones. In the case, a reward of Rs 2 lakh was announced by the police on Sunil. The SIT took action and arrested the accused Sunil on 19 November 2018.
9 girls became victims of brutality by serial rapist Sunil Kumar
On 20 November 2018, he was produced in the court and taken on remand. Even the police were surprised by what he revealed during interrogation after being caught. After hearing the story of his cruelty, experts called him not only a pedophile but also a necrophile. During interrogation it was revealed that not only this but he had also raped and murdered 9 girls in the same manner. The accused had left only one girl alive after the rape.
This incident happened near Sikandarpur. This incident took place on 15 June 2013 near Sikandarpur. A 5 year old girl who had gone to a store in DLF area was raped. The girl was found in a bloody condition near metro pillar number 47-48 near Sikandarpur metro station. He was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi in a very critical condition. The girl was brutally raped.
13 surgeries were done on the girl’s private parts
Gurugram Police registered an FIR and started investigation, but no clue was found in the case, on which a trace report was filed in the court in 2014. In February 2018, the girl’s 13th surgery on her private parts took place at Fortis. On December 15, 2018, a challan was presented in the court against accused Sunil. Apart from CCTV footage, other medical and forensic evidence were presented in the court. On the basis of solid evidence and witnesses, the court on Wednesday sentenced the convict Sunil to death.
A sequence of hair-raising crimes
Police suspected Sunil of committing heinous crimes with 8 innocent girls in Delhi, Gurugram, Gwalior and Jhansi. The first victim was a four-year-old girl, who was abducted from a temple in Gurugram in 2016. On November 27 the same year, his body was found in the bushes behind Omaxe Mall on Sohna Road. Two months later, Sunil again victimized a 5-year-old girl in Gurugram. Whose mutilated body was found 20 days after his disappearance. Like the recent incident, both the victims suffered head and leg injuries.
Police said that Ravinder Kumar was a drug addict. He used to take drugs. After this he could not control himself. As soon as the numbers reduced, he would start looking for children to quench his thirst. Sometimes he would look for his victims in local buses. Because many people coming from outside states were traveling with children in the buses.
