New Delhi. In the jewellery shop robbery case that took place on August 28 in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the police had an encounter with another criminal Ajay Yadav. In this encounter on Thursday, Ajay Yadav was injured by a police bullet. Ajay Yadav was accused of being involved in the robbery, and the police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh on him. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be out of danger.
Ajay Yadav was a member of the same gang whose main accused Mangesh Yadav has already been killed in a police encounter. The criminals involved in the robbery had carried out an armed robbery at a jewellery shop named Om Ornament located in Thatheri Bazaar. During this, they had looted 2.7 kg of diamond studded gold jewellery by taking the shopkeeper and other people hostage.

The police killed Mangesh Yadav in an encounter, while the search for other criminals is on. The police have so far arrested Arvind Yadav, Durgesh Singh, Vivek Singh, Ajay Yadav and Vinay Shukla. The police had placed a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on all these accused.

The police have also recovered 2.7 kg of gold jewellery looted in this robbery. Apart from this, the Bolero car used in the robbery, which was in the name of Tribhuvan Kori, has also been seized. Tribhuvan Kori was arrested after the encounter of Mangesh Yadav.
