Dholpur. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a philosopher, writer and the second President of India. His birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day on 5 September across the country. In the same sequence, a district level teacher felicitation ceremony and tablet distribution ceremony to meritorious students was organized at Government Higher Secondary School Maharana Dholpur under the chief hospitality of District Collector Srinidhi BT and special hospitality of State Vice President BJP Motilal Meena. The program was presided over by Chief District Education Officer Daudyal Sharma and as special guests BJP District President Satyendra Kumar Parashar, District Vice President BJP Dheer Singh Jadoun and BJP leader Dr. Shivcharan Kushwaha, National Awardee Teacher Suresh Goswami, Surendra Sikarwar were present on the stage on behalf of Awarded Teachers Forum Rajasthan Branch Dholpur. The program was inaugurated by garlanding the statue of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Mother Saraswati Sharda and lighting the lamp. Addressing the program, District Collector Srinidhi BT remembered his teachers and paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan ji and congratulated and wished all the teachers. He said that on Teachers’ Day, we thank our teachers for all the efforts they made to make us successful people. Teachers play an important role in our lives. Without them, development as a person and in a career is not possible. He told that on September 5, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is always remembered to pay tribute to his great contribution to the nation. We cannot forget such a humble person who dedicated his entire life to promote the value of education and gave a new sense of respect to Indians by beautifully interpreting Indian thoughts in Western contexts. State Vice President BJP Motilal Meena, while addressing the program, praised the glory of Guru and highlighted his immense Gurukriti. Giving the examples of Guru Vashishtha, Chanakya, Guru Drona, he asked the teachers to create values in their students. He said that since 1962, Teachers’ Day is celebrated in India every year on September 5 to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.
Another thing that we cannot forget about him is that when he became the second President of India, he accepted only Rs 2,500 from his salary of Rs 10,000 and donated the remaining amount to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund every month. Such a great man of sacrifice is remembered not only in the country but also abroad. Throwing light on the national sentiment, he hailed Bharat Mata and said that the BJP government has always been emphasizing on the national sentiment. Describing the teachers as honest, he urged them to impart education on corruption eradication to the students. District President BJP Satyendra Parashar expressed his views on the glory of teachers and congratulated and wished the teachers. District Vice President BJP Dheer Singh Jadoun expressed his views on the glory of teachers on Teacher’s Day and said that without a Guru, no one can cross this Bhava Sagar. Remembering the teachers, BJP leader Dr. Shivcharan Kushwaha said that if I have become a doctor today, such a life has been possible only because of the teachings of the Guru.
These teachers were honored at the district level
At the district level, Jitendra Kansana Barauli Ka Pura was honoured in class 1 to 5 and Mohar Singh Tomar Kasimpur in class 9 to 12. At the block level, teacher Yachana Sharma of Ghadi Duvati was honoured in class 1 to 5 and lecturer Umesh Kumar Kushwaha of Tor Danyal was honoured in class 9 to 12. District Collector Srinidhi BT, State Vice President BJP Moti Lal Meena, CDEO Daudyal Sharma and DEO Secondary Sukho Devi Rawat along with others honoured them by presenting them with a citation, shawl and turban. At the state level, Vice Principal Atul Chauhan of Government Higher Secondary School Viparpur was honoured in class 9 to 12 and Gaurav Babu Sharma in class 1 to 5. All the honoured teachers were honoured by presenting them with a cheque of Rs. 21,000, a citation, a coconut, a memento, a citation teacher booklet and a Shivira magazine. He was honoured with a prize of Rs 11,000 at district level and Rs 5,100 at block level along with a certificate and a coconut.
Tablet distribution ceremony was organized for meritorious students
District Education Officer Secondary Dholpur Sukho Devi Rawat said that tablets were distributed to 25 meritorious students of the district. The presidential address was given by CDEO Daudyal Sharma and DEO Primary Rajesh Sharma expressed his gratitude. The stage was conducted by ADEO Pappu Singh Sikarwar. ADPC Mahesh Kumar Mangal, Additional District Education Officer Rohit Bisht, CBEO Damodar Lal Meena, APC Vishal Gupta, Babita Parashar, ACBEO Savita Singh, Continuous Literacy Officer Beeri Singh, Establishment and Administrative Officer Ashok Upadhyay, Program Officer Samagra Shiksha Rajendra Prasad Sharma, Shivram Sen, Awarded Teachers Forum members and others were present in the program.
