Pradhan mantri internship scheme: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday launched a tremendous app for the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme. Along with this, more and more companies urged to attend this program. Applicants will be able to apply for internships through this app, during FY 2024-25, the experimental project of the scheme was launched on October 3, 2024, with the target of providing 1.25 lakh internship opportunities to the youth. The objective of this scheme is to bring youths from second and third category cities and help them understand the necessary skills as well as the availability of jobs.
More and more company took part
He said that there is a shortage of people in the context of the expectations and needs of the industry and the purpose of this scheme is to bridge that difference. Regarding the plan, he emphasized that there is no pressure on the industry and there is no intervention. For this, Sitharaman said that she wants to add more and more companies for this scheme. The minister said, the Indian industry should participate in the widespread interest. Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, said that the scheme provides ground experience to the youth and will help in contributing to developed India.
31 March will be able to apply

In the first round of this scheme, more than 1.27 lakh internship opportunities were provided by the companies and now it is the second round of the project which has started in January this year. In this era, more than 1.18 lakh internship opportunities were notified by 327 companies, its final date is 31 March.
