There is an uproar over the statement of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Kalkaji Ramesh Bidhuri about Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Congress candidate Alka Lamba condemned the statement and asked for an apology from Bidhuri.
Actually, BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri had said that the roads of Kalkaji will be made like the cheeks of Priyanka Gandhi. Politics has heated up due to his statement.
Alka Lamba, Congress candidate from Kalkaji, said, “The statement given by Bidhuri is being heard in every house of Kalkaji. The people of Kalkaji are thinking that BJP has made a mistake by giving such a candidate. Now people are casting their votes like this.” We will not make a mistake by giving a representative who uses such derogatory language towards women, but it is wrong to say that women will be on the streets like Priyanka Gandhi. He said, “This statement of Ramesh Bidhuri has come immediately after becoming the candidate, which is a well-planned conspiracy. There are two women candidates from this seat. We will foil the conspiracy of Ramesh Bidhuri. This is an insult to women. Women from home. Will come out and protest. Ramesh Bidhuri will have to withdraw the candidature of his candidate. Along with this, we will file an FIR against him.
Targeting former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Alka Lamba said, “The man who used to call himself a common man, today comes to know that the same man is spending Rs 33 crore of public tax in his temporary residence. He had to leave that house on charges of corruption. He has been completely exposed.”
