A video is going viral on social media, in which a delivery boy is seen trying to find his customer in a traffic jam amid heavy rain. People on social media have expressed their concern after seeing this. In this video posted on the internet in the name of Delhi Visit, it is seen that a person is making a video from the car, in which the Zomato delivery boy is continuously trying to find the person who has ordered the food.
Reacting to this, people wrote that this is inhumane behaviour of the customer, I agree that the delivery person will get money from this but is there no such thing as humanity. Another user commented on this and said that this is not good, it is raining so heavily and you are troubling someone so much for your taste. While another person wrote that human life is a joke in this country. Another internet user wrote that salute to such hardworking people who delivered your goods to you despite such bad weather.
The latest incident comes after a similar incident a few days ago, in which a delivery boy was seen wading through waist-deep water while trying to complete a delivery. The Zomato agent was praised for his “dedication” and “hard work” but people raised concerns about the pressures he faced during a difficult situation.
As the debate on the matter grew, many also called out the food-delivery platforms and asked them to reconsider their policies and prioritise the safety of their employees first by completely rejecting delivery services in such situations.
