According to Christianity, this sacrifice of Jesus gave new life to humanity.
Ask God for sins
Good Friday remembers the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Along with this, an oath is taken to follow the path given by the Lord Jesus. On this day, people wear black clothes to express grief and thank the Lord Jesus. His songs are sung and preaching are also given. Along with this, people also apologize to Jesus for their mistakes. Some people fast on this day without eating anything.
Why is it called Good Friday?
Good Friday is also known as Holy Day, Black Friday and Great Friday. Actually good does not mean good here. It means pure in old English. This means holy Friday. At the same time, some historians believe that this day was called ‘Gods Friday’ i.e. ‘Friday of God’, gradually it turned from ‘God’ to ‘good’.
Sacrifice
According to religious beliefs, Jesus Christ was crucified on the day of Good Friday. He was arrested on false charges, be killed and then crucified. The phenomenon of crucifying Jesus Christ is called ‘crucification’, and is a very emotional and intensive religious phenomenon for Christianity. Christians believe that Jesus Christ had sacrificed himself to atone for the sins of humanity.
God returned
Good Friday is not just a religious event, but a symbol of renunciation, compassion, forgiveness and love. This day reminds that true love is selfless and it is necessary to try for goodness.
(Even if it means pain and sacrifice.)
The sacrifice of Jesus teaches that no matter how powerful evil is, ultimately truth and love are victory. This is a ray of hope that we see on Easter Sunday, when it is believed that Jesus was revived.
