Director Manmohan Desai fell in love with her. But due to his shy nature he was never able to express his feelings and he married Jeevanprabha. But after some time his fate met Nanda. The director’s wife passed away. After this Nanda also fell in love with Manmohan. Nanda got engaged to director Manmohan at the age of 52. But fate had written something else in his life. Two years after the engagement, Manmohan died after falling from the roof of his house. After this the actress could not recover from this grief. Then his mother also died of cancer.
