History News Desk !!! Ajeet Singh Yadav (English: Ajeet Singh Yadav, born- 5 September 1993, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian para athlete of javelin throw. His family now resides in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Ajeet Singh Yadav, who did not care about his life to save his friend, left no stone unturned to save his career as well. The same thing happened after this. After being encouraged by coach V.K. Dabas and friends, he entered the athletics field. Ajeet Singh Yadav, who was dedicated to the field, worked hard for 3 years and not only won three international gold medals, but also became an inspiration for the people and the first para athlete of the state by making a place in the Indian team for the Tokyo Paralympics.

Coming from Nagla Bidhi village near Bharthana, para athlete Ajit Singh Yadav who has brought glory to his family and India across the world is an example for those who keep cursing their disability and do not move forward. Born on 5 September 1993, everything was fine in the life of Ajit Singh till the year 2017.[1] He was now living his life like a normal person. During this time, unfortunately, while saving the life of one of his friends, he became a victim of a train accident. In this accident, Ajit Singh Yadav’s left hand became useless. After a long treatment, he needed maximum rest, but he did not sit at home. After the motivation of coach V.K. Dabas, he returned to the field after about 4 months of the accident and participated in the Para Athletic Senior National 2018 in Panchkula, Haryana.
In the year 2019, Ajit Singh Yadav got a chance to play at the international level. He participated in the 7th World Para Athletics Grand Prix held in Beijing (China). By winning the gold medal in this competition, he attracted the attention of the whole world. Ajit did not stop here, in the year 2019, he represented India in the World Para Athletics Championship held in Dubai, where he had to settle for a bronze medal.
Gwalior’s para athlete Ajit Singh Yadav has qualified for the Summer Paralympics 2020 (Tokyo Paralympics). He has become the first athlete from Madhya Pradesh to do so. In the selection trials held on June 29 and June 30, 2021 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, Ajit Singh Yadav achieved this feat by throwing 63.96 meters javelin in the F-46 category. In the two-day selection trials held under the joint aegis of the Paralympic Committee of India and SAI, Devendra Jhajharia and Sundar Singh Gurjar also performed well and got tickets to Tokyo. While Rinku Hooda could not prove himself.
