Sahitya News Desk!!! Annaram Sudama (English: Annaram Sudama Born: 23 May, 1923 – Death: 2 January, 2014) was a famous litterateur of Rajasthani language. Sudama has written 25 books in novels, stories, poems, plays, essays, travel memoirs, children’s literature and other genres in Rajasthani and Hindi. His literature is being published in seven volumes under the name Annaram Sudama Samagra. He has received 11 awards from academies and institutions. His literary works have been included in the curriculum of various universities. His most prominent work is ‘Meve Ra Runkh’ for which he received the Sahitya Akademi Award.

Annaram Sudama was born on May 23, 1923 in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Annaram Sudama did M.A. Received education till. He was an ordinary teacher by profession and an extraordinary storyteller by talent. Annaram Sudama’s major work is the novel ‘Aandhi Ar Aastha’ (Storm and Faith). Had it been in any other language, it might have been called a classic. Sudama’s poetry collection “Pirol Mein Kutti Byai” and the novel “Jagiya Ki Wapsi” were popular among the common people. Novels like Makati Kaya-Mulkaati Dharti, Aandhi Ar Aastha, Mewai Ra Runkh, Dankijata Manvi, Ghar-Sansara and Achharika Ilaaj, poetry collections like Aandhai Nai Aankhyaan, Galat Ilaaj, Maya Ro Rang, Ae Ikkis Kahaniyan, Vyatha-Katha and Duji Kavitawan. Write. His play Badhti Amlavai, essay Manava Thari Aadat Nai and travel memoirs like Door-Disavar and Aangan Su Ernakulam were quite popular. Rajasthani litterateur Annaram Sudama died on Thursday, January 2, 2014. He was 90 years old. Sudama was born on May 23, 1923. He had written many books of novels, stories, plays, essays etc. Sudama’s Rajasthani Novel M.A. at Jayanarayan Vyas University, Jodhpur and Maharishi Dayanand University, Ajmer. And B.A. Participated in the course. The English and Hindi translation of the novel ‘Mewai Raan Runkh’ was published from the Central Sahitya Academy. District Collector Aarti Dogra has expressed grief over the demise of Sudama. On behalf of the Collector, floral tribute was offered on the mortal remains of Sudama.
