Birth and education
Bhagwat Dayal Sharma ji was born on 28 January 1918 at a place called ‘Barrow’ in Rohtak district of Haryana. His father’s name was Pandit Murarilal Sharma. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma has his MA The degree was obtained from ‘Banaras Hindu University’, Uttar Pradesh. Later, the title of D. Lit was received from ‘Maharishi Dayanand University’, Rohtak.

Marriage
Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was married to Savitri Devi. He was the father of three sons and three daughters.
Revolutionary start
In the past, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was associated with the Congress and the organization Congress. In 1941-46 you participated in the ‘Indian freedom struggle’. He traveled for a year in 1941 and then imprisoned for three and a half years in 1942.
Work on various positions
Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was the Secretary and Producers of the Regional ‘National Trade Union Congress’, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir in 1959-61. In 1959–65, he was a member of the National Executive of the ‘National Trade Union Congress’ of India. AAP was a member of the Walking Committee of ‘National Trade Union Congress’ in 1959 and its organization secretary in 1960-61. He also represented India in the ‘International Labor Union’. In 1963 and 1964-66, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was the appearance of ‘Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee’ and ‘Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee’ in 1966. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was elected leader of the United Front in Haryana in 1968. He was also a member of the Walking Committee of ‘All India (Organization) Congress Committee’ in 1970-71. In 1962-66, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was a member of the ‘Punjab Legislative Assembly’ and the Minister of State for ‘Labor and Cooperation’. In 1966-67, you were the first Chief Minister of Haryana State.[1]
Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1968-74 Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha members. In March-September 1977, you were a member of the sixth Lok Sabha from Karnala constituency.
Governor
On 23 September 1977, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was appointed Governor of Orissa. He was the guardian of many social and cultural institutions in the state of Orissa. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was actively affiliated to the administrative committee of Jagannath Temple. After this, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma assumed the post of Governor of Madhya Pradesh on 30 April 1980. He held this post till May 14, 1984.
Traveling abroad
In the years 1957 and 1958, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma was a member of the delegation ‘International Labor Organization’ (Geneva), a two -time delegation representing Indian workers in Stizerland.[1]
Death
Bhagwat Dayal Sharma ji died on 22 February 1993.
