(English: M. Badruddin Ajmal, born 12 February 1950) is an Indian politician, who is from Assam. He represents the Dhubri constituency of Assam in the seventeenth Lok Sabha. He is a politician of ‘All India United Democratic Front’ (AIUDF).
Introduction
Badruddin Ajmal is a member of the Indian Parliament from Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency. He is the founder of the Assam United Democratic Front (AUDF), now the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). He is the president of Assam State Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. He was also included in the 2015-2016 list of 500 most influential Muslims in the world published by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center in Jordan.
Political development
In 2014, he was re -elected to the 16th Lok Sabha (second term). He defeated Wazid Ali Chaudhary of Congress. In 2009, he became the leader of the All India United Democratic Front Parliamentary Party, Lok Sabha. In 2009, he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha. He defeated Anwar Hussain of Congress Party. In 2006-2009, Badruddin Ajmal was elected as a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly. They were elected together from two constituencies- South Salmar and Jamunamukh. On August 31, 2009, members became a parliamentary platform on global warming and climate change.
