Bommireddy Narasimha Reddy (English: Bommireddy Narasimha Reddy, 16 November 1908 – Death: 8 November 1977) was a famous film director of Telugu cinema. He was awarded the highest award of Indian cinema ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Samman’ in 1974 for his unprecedented contribution to cinema. Bommireddy Narasimha Reddy was born on 16 November 1908 in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. He was the eldest of three (Bommireddy Narasimha Reddy, B. Nagi Reddy and B.N. Konda Reddy) brothers. His younger brother B. Nagi Reddy was also a famous film producer-director.
