Burger King Viral News: Burger King is once again trending on social media. But this time the reason is not due to the launch of a new product or a delicious burger, but due to a bad experience of a customer. An angry customer named Yaman Dev Sharma shared his bad experience with Burger King on the social media platform X and criticized the company fiercely.
Sharma posted several pictures of Burger King’s veg burger in which mold was clearly visible on the bread. Along with this picture, Sharma jokingly wrote, “Ordered Burger King from Zomato. After finishing the fries, opened the burger and today I came to know that they have launched a new flavor, where mold is also available free with the burger bread.” Not only this, Sharma also took a dig at Burger King’s carelessness towards customers and said, “This shows how much you people care about the health of your customers. Brother, just tell them that from next time we will not order from here.”
There was a stir on social media
Sharma’s post quickly gained momentum on social media and went viral. People questioned Burger King and expressed serious concern about the company’s food safety and quality. Many users also shared their experiences in which they had to face problems in food. One user commented, “This is why Burger King burgers are banned in my house,” while another wrote, “Ugh, what a bad thing. This is very disgusting.”
Someone wrote in a light-hearted manner, “It must be green chutney brother,” but the anger of the people can be clearly seen in the whole matter. People on social media said that such incidents increase the risk to the health of customers and companies should understand their responsibility.
Response from Zomato and Burger King
Amid this customer outrage and criticism, food delivery platform Zomato responded immediately. Zomato apologized to Sharma and said, “This is very shocking. We are sorry you had such an experience. We will investigate the matter. In the meantime, a member of our team will contact you. Please DM us your registered contact number.”
At the same time, Burger King also took this matter seriously and replied to Sharma. Burger King said, “We never intended to give such an experience. Please DM us your contact number, store location, order ID and email ID so that we can contact you. Rest assured, we will investigate this matter thoroughly.”
