Video Viral in 5 Star Hotel Jaipur: A famous Five Star Hotel located in the Civil Lines area of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was stirred by a video of a couple’s personal moments on Tuesday night.
Due to lack of curtain on the window of the hotel, people passing through the road recorded from the mobile camera and put it on social media. The incident has raised serious questions on hotel’s privacy policies, digital ethics, and misuse of social media.
What happened?
The incident took place around 10:30 pm, when a couple was in private moments in a room of the Holiday in hotel located near 22 warehouse circles. There was no curtain on the glass window of the room, and everything was clearly visible from the outside due to the lights inside.
Passengers passing through India joint bridge culvert and co -operative route caught sight of this scene. Some people recorded it on mobile and made it viral on social media. On seeing this, a crowd gathered outside the hotel, and there was a traffic jam situation. People jokingly called it a “open cinema”. The hotel staff had to intervene.
Debate sparked on social media
After the video went viral, a debate broke out on X and other social media platforms. Some users accused the hotel administration of negligence, as the room did not have a curtain or tinted glass to ensure privacy. @Pramod_atri
Wrote on X, “The negligence of the hotel caused embarrassing violation of confidentiality. Will the hotel now run the ‘straight TV’ from the window?”
What did the hotel management say?
The Holiday in hotel management has refused to consider the room seen in the video as part of its hotel. When the media approached, he said, “We are not aware of any such video.”
However, in the video, the exterior walls and windows of the hotel are clearly visible, causing people to identify the hotel on social media.
