According to religious beliefs, lamps should be lit at a total of five places on the evening of Dev Diwali, it is considered auspicious, in such a situation, you should light the first lamp in the temple of your house. This brings blessings to the house and also increases happiness and prosperity. After that, donate lamps in the temples of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.
If possible, light a lamp on the banks of the river. But if this is not possible under any circumstances, then light a lamp near the water tank in the house. Apart from this, light a lamp in the Guru’s house also. Since there is a full moon on this day, you should light a lamp under the Peepal tree. Doing this is considered auspicious. If a person lights a lamp in the paddy fields on the evening of Kartik Purnima, then there is no shortage of money and grains in the house and by lighting a lamp in the paddy fields, blessings remain.
