Do not do these things on Narak Chaturdashi –

Apart from this, one should not sleep till late on the day of Narak Chaturdashi. By doing this, Goddess Lakshmi gets angry due to which sadness and poverty reside in the house. One should not donate oil even by mistake on the date of Narak Chaturdashi. Doing so may lead to financial crisis and Goddess Lakshmi also does not reside in the house.
Do not consume meat, alcohol, garlic or onion on this day, doing so has a negative impact on life. One should not speak ill or abuse anyone on this day. Don’t insult anyone.
