dddddddddddddd

Queen Elizabeth II (full name- ‘Elizabeth Alexandra Mary’, English: Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, born- 21 April, 1926; died- 8 September, 2022) was the Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952 until her death in the year 2022. During her reign, she was the queen of 32 different sovereign states. By the time of her death, Elizabeth II reigned as the monarch of 15 of these. Elizabeth II’s reign of 70 years and 214 days was the longest reign of any British monarch and the longest recorded reign of any female head of state. Her father George VI was made the emperor of Britain and British colony India in the year 1936.

Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926 in London, UK (United Kingdom). Her father’s name was Prince Albert and mother’s name was Boz Lyon. Later, her father became the King and was famous as George VI. When Elizabeth II’s father became the King, her mother became the Queen Mother. When her elder uncle King Edward VIII married a common American citizen and a widow Wallis Simpson, he had to leave the throne of England. After this, Elizabeth’s father became the ruler.[1]

Her full name was ‘Elizabeth Alexandra Mary’, but her pet name at home was ‘Lilibet’. Elizabeth II’s education was completed in the palace itself. Her teacher who taught history was C. E. K. Marten, who was a lecturer at ‘Eton College’. Elizabeth received religious education from the ‘Archbishop of Canterbury’.

Elizabeth was thirteen years old at the time of the Second World War. During the war, Elizabeth encouraged other children through her broadcast program on BBC’s radio program ‘One Hour for Children’. During the war, she lived in Windsor Castle, Berkshire. It was here that she met Prince Philip. After meeting Prince Philip, he left for naval service and Elizabeth kept writing letters to him. Later, she married Prince Philip in 1947.[1]

Elizabeth II became the mother of her first child, son Charles, in 1948. This was followed by the birth of Princess Anne in 1950, Prince Andrew in 1960, and Prince Edward in 1964. Elizabeth also lived in Malta until 1951, where her husband Philip was serving in the military.

On 6 February 1952, Elizabeth along with her husband reached Kenya, Africa, where they stayed at Treetop Hotel. This hotel was located two hours away from Nairobi city. It was here that Philip was told that his father had died during the night. After this, a grand coronation ceremony was held at Westminster Abbey on 2 June 1952. Elizabeth became the Queen of Britain with religious rites.

The biggest diamond is ‘Cullienne’, which weighs 530 carats. It is placed in Queen Elizabeth’s scepter. The world famous Kohinoor diamond that reached England from India is the world’s largest diamond, which Elizabeth’s mother wore by setting it in her crown. The shine and brilliance of Kohinoor is still the same as it was centuries ago. Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has completed 60 years on February 6, 2012 while being the Queen. In a public opinion poll conducted on the occasion of the ‘Diamond Jubilee Celebration’ of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, she has been chosen as the greatest queen of the country. In this matter, she has left Queen Victoria behind.

Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, died on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. She was 96. The Queen reigned for 70 years.
