Due to being late to office, you tell your boss that you will be late today along with a photo of the accident-prone car, but the boss doesn’t care and says that death was a good excuse. An employee posted these chats between himself and his boss on the internet, which has gone viral. People are cursing this indifference of the boss.
A user “Kira” on social media platform X has shared this chat. He writes, “How would you respond if your boss said this to you?” It can be seen in the screenshot that the employee had sent the picture of his badly damaged car to his boss. In response the boss said, “This is not a good excuse for coming to the office late, tell me immediately what time you will reach the office.” The boss did not stop here, he further said that a better excuse would have been that you would have come late or taken leave in case of death of someone in the family.
Such chats between the employee and his boss on social media have started a new debate. One user wrote, “It is understandable why you would come late, but other than a death in the family, nothing can stop you from coming to office, otherwise no other excuse will forgive you.”
