Story of Falgun Amavasya –
There was a Brahmin family in a village in which the husband and wife and one of their daughters lived. His life was going on normal. His daughter gradually started growing up and with the increasing age, the qualities of women started developing in it. She was very beautiful, gentle and all -virtue rich but due to being poor, she was not getting married. One day a Sadhu Maharaj reached that Brahmin’s house.
The Brahmin daughter served Sadhu Maharaj a lot and pleased with his service, Sadhu Maharaj blessed the girl for a long life. But it was also told that there is widow yoga in his palm. Concerned by this, the Brahmin family asked the monk any solution to this yoga. Then after some time, the monk told that in a village, a woman named Sona lives with her son and daughter-in-law in a village. The woman is rich in very rites, virtuous and loyal.
If your girl serves the woman and in her marriage, the woman applies vermilion of her demand, then the widow of this girl’s horoscope can be removed. Hearing this, the Brahmin asked his daughter to serve Dhobin and the next day the girl woke up in the morning and went to Sona Dhobin’s house. Then every day she used to clean Dhobin’s house and go back to her house.
One day Sona Dhobin asks her daughter -in -law that you get up in the morning and do all the work and do not even know. Then the daughter -in -law said, “Manji, I thought that you get up in the morning and finish all the work on your own, I wake up late. After this, both mother-in-law started monitoring who goes on doing all the work of their house in the morning.
Several days later, Dhobin saw that a girl comes to her house in the morning and goes away after doing all the work. When she started going to the girl, Sona Dhobin fell on her feet and started asking who she works in her house. Then the girl told the whole thing said by the monk. Sona Dhobin was a husband and was fast in it, so she agreed to this.
Sona Dhobin’s husband’s health was a bit bad, so she asked her daughter -in -law to stay at home till she returned. As soon as Sona Dhobin applied vermilion of her demand in the demand of that girl, her husband died. After a while, she came to know about this, she had gone free from home. Gold Dhobin will get a peepal tree on the way, if you get a peepal tree, it will drink water only after revolving around it.
Falgun was Amavasya that day. Instead of the Puy-pakwan found in the house of that Brahmin, he ordered the peepal tree 108 times with brick pieces 108 times and took water. Her husband came back alive as soon as he did so. In such a situation, it is believed that fasting on the day of Phalgun Amavasya brings virtue.
