C.N. Balakrishnan (English: CN Balakrishnan, born- November 18, 1934; death- December 10, 2018) was a senior Congress politician and former minister of Kerala.
C.N. Balakrishnan, former Chief Minister of Kerala. Was a long time associate of Karunakaran. He was the President of Thrissur District Congress Committee for 17 years and was also the treasurer of the state unit for a long time. In 2011 C.N. Balakrishnan entered electoral politics only and became the Minister of Cooperation in the Oommen Chandy cabinet. C.N. Balakrishnan was the Minister for Cooperation, Khadi and Village Industries and Pollution Control of Kerala under the Oommen Chandra ministry. He became the representative of Vadakanchari constituency in Kerala after winning in the 2011 state elections.
