Bhanu Priya’s early career
Bhanu Priya was born on 15 January 1967 in a Telugu family in Rangampeta, Rajahmundry district, Andhra Pradesh. Initially her name was Manganabhanu, but on papers her name was changed to Bhanu Priya. Bhanu Priya’s family shifted to Chennai and she inclined towards South Film Industry. Bhanu Priya’s younger sister Shantipriya is also a South actress. From 1983 to 1995, Bhanu Priya was included in the list of top actresses of South Indian cinema. In 1998, she married America-based businessman Adarsh Kaushal. They had a daughter in 2003, but the couple divorced in 2005.

Actress Bhanu Priya started her acting career in 1983 with the Tamil film Mela Pesungal. The next year he debuted in the Tamil film Sitara (1984).
