According to the Hindu calendar, the holy festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp every year on the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month.
Let us tell you that in the month of Bhadrapada, there is a ritual of worshiping Lord Ganesha from Ganesh Chaturthi to Anant Chaturdashi. The month of Bhadrapada is dedicated to Ganpati. On this day, the idol of Ganpati will be installed and a fast will be observed. Bappa’s farewell i.e. Ganesh Visarjan will take place on Tuesday, 17th September, on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. In such a situation, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, to get the blessings of Ganpati, chant the Sankatnashan Mantra with devotion during the puja. It is believed that chanting it brings success in career and business and keeps obstacles away.
