Marriage Arranged on the pretext of Government Job: A shocking case has come to light from Banda in Uttar Pradesh, where a woman has alleged that before marriage her husband had told her that he held a government job, but after the marriage it was revealed that he was a private car driver.
Angered by this fraud, the wife reached the police station.

According to the victim Anuradha Devi, her in-laws had deceived her and her family into getting the marriage done.
Before marriage, the in-laws had told that their son is in a government job and has a house and plot in Haryana etc. Falling prey to this deception, Anuradha’s family got her married in 2020.
Revealing the truth
After reaching her in-laws house, Anuradha came to know that her husband does not hold any government job, but Private Drives a car.
Anuradha was shocked to know the truth. When she asked her husband and in-laws about this, they started beating her and harassing her for dowry.
Complaint to the police
Anuradha was forced to seek the help of the police and lodged a complaint at the police station. The police have named 7 people from her in-laws’ side including her husband Ravi Kumar, father-in-law Rakesh Kumar, mother-in-law Pinky Kumari, brother-in-law Ankit. The victim alleges that her in-laws beat her up for dowry and also threatened to kill her.
