Senior TV and film actor Arun Bali is celebrating his birthday today. He is 79 years old. Born on 23 December 1942 in Lahore, Pakistan, Arun Bali has done many films and TV shows in his long career. He has not only worked in Hindi films but has also left his mark in Telugu and Punjabi films. Arun Bali has played mostly character roles in his career. He has worked with all the big stars of Bollywood. Before debuting in Bollywood, Arun Bali has appeared in many TV shows.
Arun Bali made his TV debut in the year 1989 with the TV show ‘Doosra Keval’. This year he was also seen in the show ‘Phir Wahi Talaash’. His character in the popular TV show ‘Neem Ka Ped’ (Neem Tree) was quite popular. In 1991, he played the role of King Porus in the serial ‘Chanakya’. He played the role of Kunwar Singh in Doordarshan’s very popular show ‘Swamiman’. In the year 2000, he was offered the serial ‘Kumkum’. In this he played the character of Harshvardhan Wadhwa and made himself a household name. Arun Bali made his Bollywood debut in the year 1991 with the film ‘Saugandh’. Akshay Kumar also entered the world of acting with this film. In this film, Arun Bali played the role of actor Pankaj Dheer’s father. His work in the film was appreciated. After this he played character roles in many films in the 90s.
