Very few people know that Himani, born on 24 October 1960 in Dehradun, is the daughter of famous writer Dr. Haridutt Bhatt ‘Shailesh’. He started his acting career in Bollywood with the film ‘Kab Aayega Maza’ and after this film, he did films like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Raja’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Deewana Mastana’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
