Akshay Kumar belongs to a Punjabi family. He was born in Amritsar, Punjab. It is said that his father was in the Indian Army. Before moving to Mumbai, he lived in Chandni Chowk. But then his father started working with UNICEF and they settled in Mumbai. Akshay was more interested in sports than studies. Akshay took admission in Guru Nanak Khalsa College. Akshay’s first film was Saugandh, in which he worked with Rakhi Gulzar. After this, he worked in many films but did not get much success. And then his film “Main Khiladi Tu Anari” was released.
