Jitendra Singh (English: Jitendra Singh, born November 6, 1956, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India) is an active Indian politician. He is the Minister of State for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Prime Minister’s Office, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space. He is a member of the National Executive of the Bharatiya Janata Party and was also the chief spokesperson for Jammu and Kashmir. In the 2014 elections, Jitendra Singh was elected MP from Udhampur Lok Sabha seat of Jammu and Kashmir on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
Jitendra Singh, son of Rajinder Singh and Shanti Devi, was born on November 6, 1956 in Jammu. Doctor Jitendra Singh by profession has obtained MBBS degree from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. His wife’s name is Manju Singh. Dr. Jitendra Singh has two sons. Jitendra Singh is also fond of writing. Till now 6 of his books have been published.
Jitendra Singh also writes columns in newspapers. He is also the former chairman of the National Diabetes Committee.
