Auspicious time of worship-
According to the Hindu calendar, the Ashtami Tithi of the month of Ashwin has started on Tuesday, September 24 at 12:38 pm and this Tithi will end today i.e. on September 25 at 12:10 pm. According to the Udaya Tithi, Jitiya Vrat is being observed today i.e. on Wednesday, September 25. It would be best to worship Lord Jimutvahan during the afternoon on this day. It is believed that by worshipping and fasting on this day, problems related to children are removed.
Method of worship of Jitiya fast-
Let us tell you that on the day of Jitiya Vrat, wake up in the morning and take a bath, then wear clean clothes and worship the Sun God and offer water to him. Now worship Lord Jimutvahana by lighting a lamp and take a vow to fast. Recite the Vrat Katha and then chant mantras. Offer fruits, sweets etc. to the Lord. Now pray to Lord Jimutvahana for the birth of a child and his safety. Next day, break your fast in an auspicious time. In the end, definitely donate to people with devotion. It is believed that doing so bestows the infinite blessings of the Lord and there is no dearth of food and money.
