Joy Goswami (English: Joy Goswami, born November 10, 1954) is a famous Indian poet of Bengali language. He is widely considered one of the most important Bengali poets of his generation.
He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2000 for ‘Pagli Tomar Sange’, a poetry collection written by him.
His poem ‘Mother and Daughter’ was one of the best Bengali poems of the year it was published.
Joy Goswami was awarded the Murti Devi Award in 2017 for her composition ‘Du Dondo Favara Matro’.
