(English: Kochakkan Chacko Abraham, born- January 20, 1899; died- March 14, 1986) was a politician of the Indian National Congress. He was the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. He held this post from August 15, 1978 to August 15, 1983.
Of. C. Abraham was born on January 20, 1899 in Cochin, Kerala. After completing his graduation, he worked as a teacher for 30 years. Later he also served as headmaster. He was a member of the Travancore Cochin Legislative Assembly (1954–1956). Of. C. Abraham Nazarakkal-Congress was the first and second KLA MLA. After retiring from the post of headmaster, he entered active politics quite late. He was a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) at the time of the great partition in 1969. The 21-member committee was divided into 10 pro-syndicate and 10 pro-Indira groups. This is K. It was C. Abraham who played the role of mediator. Although K. C. Abraham was a big supporter of the syndicate. Ultimately he sided with the syndicate, resulting in Indira Gandhi’s expulsion from the Indian National Congress.
