On this day, the fierce form of Lord Shiva is worshiped. Kalbhairav is duly worshiped and fast is observed. Worship like this on Kalashtami-
Let us tell you that on the auspicious day of Kalashtami, wake up early in the morning and take bath etc. After this, wear clean clothes and clean the place of worship thoroughly and spread a red colored cloth on it. After this install the statue of Kalabhairav. Now collect worship materials like lamp, incense, flowers, fruits, sweets, water, Akshat, Roli, sandalwood etc. for worship.
After this, offer these things to God one by one and chant this mantra in your mind “Om Kleem Kalikayai Namah”. After worshiping Kalbhairav, offer Arghya to him. After this, offer food to Bhairav Baba and perform his aarti. It is believed that by worshiping in this manner, God gets pleased and blesses him quickly and removes the troubles.
Date and time of Kalashtami-
According to the Hindu calendar, Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month is starting on Friday, 22nd November at 6.07 pm and this date will end the next day i.e. on Saturday, 23rd November at 7.56 pm. . The auspicious time for worshiping Kaal Bhairav on this day will be from 6:50 am to 10:48 am on 22nd November. The same Nishita Kaal Muhurta will be from 11:41 pm on 22nd November to 12:34 pm on 23rd November.
