(English: Kesineni Srinivas, born January 22, 1966) is an MP in the seventeenth Lok Sabha of India. He was also an MP in the sixteenth Lok Sabha. In the 2014 elections, he contested from Vijayawada seat of Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Telugu Desam Party.
Kesineni Srinivas joined ‘Praja Rajyam Party’ on 26 October 2008. He then served the party for only three months and then left the party in January 2009. After leaving Praja Rajyam Party, he joined Telugu Desam Party. He was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency from the Telugu Desam Party in the 2014 general elections and was re-elected from the same constituency in 2019. In the Lok Sabha, he is a member of the Committee of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Earlier he was a member of the Committee on Privileges, the Standing Committee on Urban Development and the Advisory Committee on the Ministry of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and Sanitation. He is considered one of the most prominent and pro-development politicians of the state and country. Kesineni Srinivas’s efforts to establish Vijayawada as a top-class living destination are commendable. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many other Union Ministers have also praised him.
